MainStreet MD Daily Check-In and Medication Reminders are two very simple and effective telephone alert notification systems that can be used separately or in conjunction with one another to support seniors living with mild Alzheimer’s
Each morning, MainStreet MD Daily Check-In will call the affected family member or client. When the phone is answered, the senior is prompted to press #1 if they are fine, or #2 if they are in need of assistance.
With the Medication Reminder system, the voice response unit prompts the senior to press #1 if they have taken their medications, or #2 if there is a problem, or if they have not.
With both MainStreet MD Daily Check-In and Medication Reminders, if the senior presses #2, the call is routed to MainStreet MD’s Emergency Response Center and the care provider or primary buddy receive an email notification. As with all MainStreet MD products, we believe that care providers want to be involved. If the senior does not answer the phone, family or professional caregivers are immediately notified via email that we were unable to make contact. They can then contact the senior to determine the situation.
