I'm Craig Baker, founder of MainStreet MD. Why did I do this? In 2007 my best friends daughter was diagnosed with Autism. This stunning news sent me on a journey to learn all I could about her condition and what I could do to help with her care.

The worry of wandering

As I discovered, Autistic children or adults often wander away from parents and caregivers, causing fear, anxiety, and endless worry. And this “wandering” goes beyond Autism to include:

• Dementia
• Alzheimer’s Disease
• Toddlers and children in malls, on vacations, and in amusement parks
• Pre-teens walking to school

I was determined to find a solution.

While various technologies existed, the products to effectively use those technologies did not. So I started MainStreet MD to research, design and market affordable products for consumers and healthcare providers. These products and those to come are the foundation of our mission: Caring, Helping, Preventing, Protecting.
